ProMiller Hotel Mentorship Program

According to research, the total number of hotel rooms in India was marked at approximately 2.8 million, as of 2018–19, after which numbers have only grown across India.

COVID-19 has hit the Hotel industry hard and with it, the contribution of the hotel industry to the Indian economy is going to be greatly affected. We already have Hotel owners and investors planning to exit from the industry, leaving many hoteliers unemployed. Motivated by our honorable Prime Minister’s words, we are hoping to be ‘Vocal about Local’ by supporting Indian Hotels in these challenging times.

Through this program, we hope to extend support to the independent hotels which lack the awareness and see exit as their only option. In the bigger picture, we hope to sustain the Indian economy during these tumultuous times as the overall economy of India is affected by hotels in terms of employment, businesses, travel and tourism. After all, hotels across India employ approximately 10 million people directly, as per the data available in 2017, after which numbers have only grown.

In order to not dilute the quality of support in this mentorship, we are following a registration and selection process. We are shortlisting hotels in India that lack support and expertise to manage hotels and may suffer losses, or worse, be completely shut down due to the Coronavirus effect.
